Terranigma

Oh dear, I'm falling behind in keeping this blog updated, it's not like I have nothing to share with you lot, it's just that... Hmm, this might not be the best time to run out of excuses. I have a test tomorrow which I am most certainly going to flunk. I know this, because I wasted away any... Oh wait we've already been through that. Although ironically it's a test for the very same subject my previous entry resolved around, I'm a bit more prepared, just a little bit.

What's up? You mean musically, you mean life, you mean school? Let's start of with music then, I added a little piece of code to my blog that displays my listening behavior. It might make keeping track of my musical (evolutions?) a bit easier and I don't have to clutter any other post with dozens of links you're never going to click on. On top of that, there will be no more harassment from me on msn spamming links, isn't that neat! How's life? I'll get back to it when it comes around the corner and I ever so conveniently bump into it. No, instead I decided one week ago to go retro! Yes, brace yourself for I uncovered my old dearest of all: the super Nintendo entertainment system, short version nerd, out from under my bed. Plugged it in and I let that baby roar! What have I been deceived all these years, the games that were carved in my memory as being way harder than games from nowadays has been proven to be wrong. I started off with super Mario world and before I knew it I uncovered the secret stage called star road. I decided to complete it using my persistence to uncover exits not meant to be reached yet that far into the game and soon enough I found myself in Bowser castle. Got up to him and beat him with relative ease, he appeared much more sadistic in my nightmares from days gone past.

As of now I'm trying to complete Donkey Kong Country 2 for one-hundred percent. Scary enough I'm progressing at a steady pace and soon enough that challenge will be ancient history as well. Still, it is nice to play these 'old' games as they still hold a certain charm. How's school? I'm wrapping up and boy is it no minute to soon, because honestly my motivation is tumbling; avalanche style. It must be the pretty weather that decided to pop up in this critical phase. Let's hope my damage control will be sufficient to not cause any casualties.

I wonder if anyone will recognize the title.

I believe video games to be like fine wine; they get better thru time... or maybe I'm just growing into an old 'n' bittered bastard at a very early age (probably the latter)

I recently reached level 5 of the Wayne's World Snes game. Which is further than anyone in the world has ever gotten because it's such a terrible game and I'm proud of this :)

I completed each of the DKC games over 100%!! (they go over 100% for some reason)
I don't think I've ever fully completed any of the Super Mario games though. Might be a challenge for the upcoming holiday :)

Title? Haven't got a clue :/
