My last post has been several months ago, those times have past and I feel obliged to tell-tale some experiences that have been important to me. The latter parts of the second period of school were hectic with work piling up, due to my own lackluster attitude. On top of that there were several projects that needed to be finished and I had to catch up and learn my best for the exams I was faced with. Now that it's all over, I've some breathing air once more to tell about my going to Fall out Boy. A concert that with no doubt was the one I highly anticipated. Oh wait, there was one other concert, namely Thrice but that show sadly got delayed and I need to wait till May before I can speak any of it.
~Fall out Boy~
Did I have any high expectations, was I anxious, was I excited and scared it would get cancelled just like Thrice? Hell yeah, but none of the negative things happened and all of the good things came true. The show was awesome, the lead singer has the most strong and clean cut vocals I've ever heard in a band of that caliber. There was definitely not a strange difference in level between the recorded album and the live show. When they played all their good songs I was in the back soaking up the volume and the atmosphere and somewhere in the middle I went into the mosh pit. I had some fun pushing people around, heh where in the world can you still do that without having to fear for your own life? I do noticed afterwards that I was more obsessed with pushing, pulling, kicking and punching people then listening to the show. Although I can't say I really mind, after all the best parts are when you see your friends in the very same mosh pit and you can make it a shared experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for the next shows lined up, I'm all for it.
I suppose my Birthday is closing in and unlike other years I already know what I am going to ask Family & Friends. So much, that I have to chose between what I want the most. I suppose I'll ask four CD's from my parents some new ear plugs from my brother (better ones) and some movies from my friends. Heh, now all I've got to do is make sure my friends don't give me those lame presents you give when the actual birthday boy doesn't know what he wants. I'll e-mail you with a small list of things I would like to have, so don't worry it can't go wrong. I hope.
